ENTERTAINMENT

The three days of the Bothwell Spinin is not just about textiles.  Historically it is also known for it's fabulous entertainment over the period of the event,  which all add to the atmosphere.

Throughout the three days, Peter Bignell will be building a Giant Sand Castle.

There will be various musical items including the Veterans Band, Hot String Band, Gary Lewincamp and SiSonke Choir.    Intermittent  musical entertainment will be happening between the marquees.

Friday Night during dinner there will be a Trivia Competition between the dinner tables – so put your thinking caps on to win the prizes!   Local knowledge, general knowledge, spinin history – it will all be there.

Saturday night is the renowned musical hall comedy concert night with so many fabulous acts.  If you were excited by the spectacular dancing portrayed in the famous film,  Moulin Rouge, then you will not be disappointed!  These dancers may have a style of their own, but they know how to entertain.

The comedy acts are guaranteed to have you in tears with laughter.

So come to Bothwell Spinin 09 and be prepared to be entertained.

The "sandcastle" to be build at the Spin-in is actually a "sculpture" and could be a castle, although it might not be a castle, but it definitely will be a sculpture.
